Italien Caprese Blend

The recipe: 450 gr of spaghetti or other pasta, 2 diced tomatoes, 450 gr of cubed mozzarella or bocconcini, 1/3 cup of olive oil, this Italian spice mix and a touch of fresh basil for decoration. 1. Cook pasta as directed on package. Al dente is best. Meanwhile, combine tomatoes and mozzarella in a bowl. Set aside. When pasta is cooked, save 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain pasta. 2. Put the spice mixture in a bowl and pour ½ cup of pasta water over it (about 1 minute). 3. In the same pan, pour in the olive oil, add the spices, sauté for a minute, then add the cooked pasta. Mix well to coat the pasta with all the spices. ”
