Vitamin E

Vitamin E used in cosmetics is generally plant-based. It is extracted from vegetable oils (sunflower, wheat germ, soybean, rapeseed, corn, etc.) or produced through a fermentation process using plants. It is then purified and stabilized for use in cosmetic products.

It is a natural antioxidant that protects vegetable oils from oxidation (extending the shelf life of products) and stabilizes formulations containing lipids
